		<description>I have largely cured my insomnia by cutting out caffeine and alcohol as well as not eating for three hours before bedtime. I also do meditation relaxation right before bed and this helps with all of those thoughts that keep me awake.

		<description>I often find that lucid dreaming is more easily done when I wake up earlier than I need to, stay up for an hour or so, and then go back to sleep again for a nap. I have definitely experienced it a few times this way but never at night.

		<description>I was really surprised not to see something about 'lack of exercise' in the causes listed above. I've noticed the #1 way for me to get deep, long sleep is to exercise. When I don't exercise, it is much harder to fall asleep.
